Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California at the 9th of July 1983. The first job she had after school was working in the industry of real estate. In this industry, she got to know Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband. The couple was very successful prior to the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate developers and house flippers failed. As a result of the market crash, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing the entirety of their wealth. Their house was valued at $700 a week, which was a far cry from the $6000 they paid per month for their home. The business and the overall economy, recovered slowly. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an accomplice to assist in the making of an HGTV audition video in 2011. The footage included Tarek flipping the entire home with Christina. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. The two fell in love Tarek with Christina. The couple in 2012 reached a deal with HGTV. The series "Flip of Flop" was launched on April 13th, 2013. Between 2013 between 2013 and 2017, the series ran 92 episodes in seven seasons. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically homes with a moderate income in Orange County, and would follow up with several months making changes so that they could flip the property in order to earn profits.
